I'm Dania.

I've been a photographer since 2006. My taste leans toward "spectacles." An amazing or surprising view, the unintentionally funny, very large (or unexpectedly small) things, the exceptionally beautiful, the vintage, the item not where you'd expect it, etc. I also love a simple and lovely domestic scene, or a setting with harmonious and beautiful color.

I've been on Flickr since 2006, and that same year, I started my photo and music blog, All Eyes And Ears. I started it on Blogger, then moved it to Wordpress in 2009, then to Tumblr in 2012. There hasn't been much music since all of the DMCA kerfuffle started around 2010, but I'd like to bring that back.

I started making jewelry in 2021; I was buying a ridiculous amount of stretch bracelets and thought, as I so often do, "for crying out loud, I could make these myself." I started my Etsy and with my first collection, stumbled upon a hit. The Moss bracelet from my Autumn 2021 collection ended up being very popular among fans of goblincore & cottagecore. I still sell them, here and on Etsy.

I love collaging and junk journaling too! What can I tell you, I love pasting and gluing and blinging and stamping.

Nothing I do is "quiet luxury." It's more like "joyful vibrance." You won't find much gray or beige here either. The general feeling of The Magic Attic is more like climbing the stairs to a curated shop, pushing aside a beaded curtain, smelling a heady incense and hearing either some Blue Note Jazz or prog rock while you shop.

I'll blog about once a week and won't spam you with email any more than that (unless I have something super-amazing-surprising to share) if you join my email list. I'm also getting my Magic Attic tumblr and Tiktok off the ground.
